These terms govern the LeadTrackEngine Ambassador Program. By applying, you agree to them. We keep it straightforward because that's how we'd want to be treated.
1. What the Ambassador Program is
The LeadTrackEngine (LTE) Ambassador Program pays you a recurring cash commission when people you refer become paying LTE customers. You share a personal link or promo code, someone signs up and pays, and you earn a percentage of what they pay, every month, for as long as they remain a paying customer.
This is separate from the LTE Credit Referral program (where both sides earn AI credits). You can participate in both simultaneously.
2. Who can be an ambassador
- You must apply. The program is curated, not open. We review every application personally.
- You must be (or become) a paying LTE customer. You can apply and start sharing during a free trial, but commission only accrues after your own account is on a paid plan.
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must not be a platform employee or administrator.
We may decline applications for any reason. If declined, you're welcome to apply again in the future.
3. Commission structure
Standard ambassadors
- 30% recurring commission on every paid month (or annual renewal) of every customer you refer
- Lifetime duration. As long as the referred customer keeps paying, you keep earning. No 12-month cap.
Founding ambassadors (first 10)
- 40% recurring commission (same lifetime terms)
- Private community access with the founder
- Monthly founder calls
- Early access to new features
- "Founding Ambassador" badge on your profile
The number of Founding slots, the commission rates, and the perks are set at the time you are approved. If we change the default rates in the future, your personal rate remains locked at whatever it was when you were approved (see Section 8).
What commission is paid on
- Monthly subscription payments (Pro and Leader plans)
- Annual subscription renewals
What commission is NOT paid on
- Free trial periods
- Failed or declined payments
- Refunded payments within the clawback window (see Section 5)
- One-time add-on purchases (e.g. export upgrades, credit packs)
4. How attribution works
When someone clicks your ambassador link (/a/your-code), we set a cookie on their browser. This cookie lasts 60 days. If they sign up within that window, you are permanently credited as the referrer for that customer.
Your personal promo code works the same way. If someone enters your promo code during checkout, you are credited even without a cookie.
- Last click wins. If a prospect clicks multiple ambassador or referral links, the most recent click determines attribution.
- Lifetime attribution from first payment. Once a referred customer makes their first paid invoice, you are permanently credited, even if they cancel and re-subscribe later.
- One ambassador per customer. A customer can only be attributed to one ambassador. First paid month locks it.
5. Clawback and refunds
If a referred customer requests and receives a refund within 30 days of their first payment, the commission for that payment is reversed. This is standard practice for any legitimate program.
- After 30 days, commission is locked and non-reversible.
- If the commission was already paid to you, the reversal is deducted from your next payout.
- If a customer cancels (without refund), you stop earning on future months but keep all past commissions.
6. How and when you get paid
- Payout frequency: monthly, Net 30. Commission earned in April is paid at the end of May.
- Minimum payout: $50 AUD. Below that, your balance rolls to the next month.
- Payment method: bank transfer (Wise). We may move to other payment methods in the future.
- Currency: payouts are in your local currency at the exchange rate on the day of transfer.

7. Tax
You are an independent contractor, not an employee of LTE. You are responsible for your own tax obligations in your jurisdiction.
- Australia: if your lifetime earnings from LTE exceed $1,000 AUD, we may ask for your ABN.
- United States: if your lifetime earnings approach $600 USD, we may ask for a W-9 to issue a 1099-NEC.
- Other jurisdictions: handled on a case-by-case basis.
We keep accurate records of all commissions paid and make them available to you in your dashboard.
8. Changes to the program
We may update these terms, commission rates, or program features. Here's how:
- Rate changes: if we change the default commission rate, your personal rate (set at the time of your approval) stays locked. New rates only apply to ambassadors approved after the change. We will not retroactively reduce your rate.
- Terms changes: we will give at least 30 days notice via email before any material changes to these terms take effect for existing ambassadors.
- Program suspension: we may temporarily pause new commission accrual system-wide (e.g. during a billing issue). Existing accruals and unpaid balances are honoured.
9. What we expect from you
We want ambassadors who genuinely love the product and share it honestly. Here's what's required:
- Be honest. Don't make claims about LTE that aren't true. Don't promise specific income results.
- Don't spam. Don't send unsolicited bulk messages, buy email lists, or use aggressive tactics that would reflect badly on LTE or on you.
- Don't self-refer. Creating fake accounts to earn commission on yourself is grounds for immediate termination.
- Don't bid on our brand. Don't run paid search ads targeting "LeadTrackEngine", "LTE CRM", or similar branded terms. Organic mentions are fine.
- Disclose the relationship. When recommending LTE, mention that you earn a commission. Transparency builds trust.
- Use the content kit responsibly. You can customise the materials we provide, but don't alter our brand in misleading ways.
10. Termination
- Either party can end the relationship at any time. You can stop being an ambassador whenever you want. We can remove you from the program at our discretion.
- If terminated without cause: you receive all unpaid commission owed up to the termination date. No back-commission forfeiture.
- If terminated for cause (fraud, spam, self-referral, repeated terms violations): we reserve the right to withhold unpaid commission.
- Your referred customers remain attributed to you for 90 days after termination. After that, attribution lapses and no further commission accrues.
11. Privacy
- You will never see the personal information (name, email, contact details) of customers you refer. Your dashboard shows anonymous conversion counts and commission amounts.
- We track clicks via hashed IP and user agent for bot detection only. We never store raw IP addresses.
- The ambassador cookie (
lte_ambassador) is a first-party functional cookie, not an advertising tracker.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved under Australian jurisdiction.
