What is a tracked link? Getting Started

A tracked link is a unique URL that identifies you as the referrer. When you share a campaign link, it includes your personal tracking code so any leads or clicks are attributed to you.

For example: yoursite.com/page?ref=your-id

Every campaign in LTE generates a tracked link specific to you. When someone clicks your link, LTE records it so your team leader (and you) can see your results.

How do I share my tracked link? Campaigns

  • Open the Campaigns tab

  • Tap the campaign you want to share

  • Tap Copy Link to copy your tracked link to the clipboard

  • Paste it into any messaging app, social media post, or email

Pro tip: Use the LTE keyboard extension to share links directly from any messaging app without switching back to the LTE app.

What does the AI Coach do? AI Coach

AI Coach is your personal messaging assistant that lives inside the LTE keyboard. It helps you:

  • Get reply suggestions — Paste a message you received and AI Coach will suggest a natural, on-brand response

  • Coaching mode — Ask for advice on how to approach a prospect or handle an objection

  • Contact-aware — When you select a contact, AI Coach knows their name, temperature, and recent interactions to give contextual advice

To use AI Coach, switch to the LTE keyboard in any messaging app and tap the AI Coach tab.

How do I add contacts? Contacts

There are several ways to add contacts to LTE:

  • During onboarding — Add your first 5 contacts when you set up your account

  • From the Contacts tab — Tap the + button to add a new contact manually

  • Automatic sync — If your team leader uses GoHighLevel, contacts assigned to you sync automatically

For each contact, you can set their temperature (Hot, Warm, Cool, Cold) to prioritize your follow-ups.

What are temperature ratings? Contacts

Temperature ratings help you prioritize who to contact first:

  • 🔴 Hot — Highly interested, ready to take action. Follow up within 24 hours.

  • 🟠 Warm — Showing interest, needs nurturing. Follow up within a few days.

  • 🔵 Cool — Some interest but not urgent. Check in weekly.

  • Cold — Low interest or new contact. Reach out monthly.

LTE uses temperature ratings to power your Today tab — it automatically suggests who you should contact each day based on their temperature and when you last reached out.

How do I set up the LTE keyboard? Keyboard

Follow these steps to enable the LTE keyboard:

  • Open SettingsGeneralKeyboardKeyboards

  • Tap Add New Keyboard...

  • Select LeadTrackEngine from the Third-Party Keyboards list

  • Tap LeadTrackEngine and enable Allow Full Access (required to load your campaigns and AI Coach)

  • In any messaging app, tap the 🌐 globe icon to switch to the LTE keyboard

Note: After adding the keyboard, you may need to close and reopen your messaging app for it to appear.

How do follow-up reminders work? Getting Started

LTE automatically creates follow-up tasks based on your contacts' temperature ratings:

  • Hot contacts — Follow up every 1-2 days

  • Warm contacts — Follow up every 3-5 days

  • Cool contacts — Follow up every 7-14 days

  • Cold contacts — Follow up every 30 days

Your Today tab shows all follow-ups due today (and overdue ones). When you complete a task, LTE automatically schedules the next follow-up based on the contact's temperature.

You'll also receive push notifications when follow-ups are due, so you never miss a touchpoint.

What is a Space? Getting Started

A Space is your team or organization in LTE. Think of it as your workspace.

  • Team Spaces are created by team leaders and contain campaigns, scripts, and AI Coach settings shared across the team

  • Personal Spaces are auto-created for solo users who sign up independently

If you're part of a team, your leader invites you to their Space. You can belong to multiple Spaces and switch between them using the Space selector at the top of the app.

Each Space has its own campaigns, contacts, and AI Coach configuration.

How do I export my contacts? Contacts

You can export all your contacts as a CSV file at any time.

  • Open the Contacts tab

  • Tap the share icon (↑) in the top-left toolbar

  • LTE will generate a CSV file with all your contacts

  • Choose where to save or share the file — AirDrop, Files, email, etc.

The export includes: name, email, phone, tags, temperature, contact type, engagement score, and date added.

Tip: This is a great way to back up your contacts or import them into another tool.

How do I delete a contact? Contacts

You can permanently delete a contact from the Contact Detail screen.

  • Open the Contacts tab and tap the contact you want to delete

  • Tap the ... menu in the top-right corner

  • Tap Delete Contact

  • Confirm the deletion in the alert

What gets deleted:
  • The contact record

  • All interaction notes

  • All follow-up tasks

  • Engagement data

  • Contact photo (if any)

Important: This action cannot be undone. For team Spaces, the contact will also be removed from GoHighLevel.

Tip: If you just want to stop seeing a contact in your daily list, consider changing their type to Customer or Team instead of deleting them.

How do I delete my account? Account

You can delete your account at any time from the app.

  • Open the Profile tab

  • Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account

  • Confirm by entering your password (if you use password login)

  • Tap Permanently Delete Account

What happens when you delete:
  • Your account is immediately deactivated

  • Personal Space data (contacts, campaigns, links) is deleted right away

  • Team Space memberships are deactivated

  • After 30 days, all remaining data is permanently purged

If you change your mind within 30 days, contact us to restore your account.

What are custom domains? Custom Domains

Custom domains let you share branded tracked links instead of the default app.leadtrackengine.com URLs.

For example, instead of:
app.leadtrackengine.com/t/jane/summer-promo

You can share:
links.yourbrand.com/t/jane/summer-promo

This looks more professional and builds trust with your prospects.

lte.direct subdomains — You can also use a free yourname.lte.direct subdomain that works instantly with no setup required.

How do I add a custom domain? Custom Domains

Option 1: Use an lte.direct subdomain (instant)

  • Go to Profile → Custom Domains

  • Add a domain like yourname.lte.direct

  • It's verified instantly — no DNS setup needed

  • Tap Apply to All to use it on all your campaigns

Option 2: Bring your own domain
  • Go to Profile → Custom Domains

  • Tap + and enter your domain (e.g. links.yourbrand.com)

  • You'll see DNS setup instructions — add a CNAME record pointing to app.leadtrackengine.com

  • Wait for DNS to propagate (usually 5–30 minutes)

  • Tap Verify or wait — we check automatically every 15 minutes

  • Once verified, assign it to your campaigns

Tip: Click tracking works on all your domains regardless of which one is assigned to a campaign. The domain assignment only controls what URL your partners see when they copy their link.

What is an lte.direct subdomain? Custom Domains

Every Space in LeadTrackEngine gets a free lte.direct subdomain automatically. For example, if your Space is called "Jane's Business", you'd get janes-business.lte.direct.

Why use it?

  • Works instantly — no DNS setup needed

  • Free — included with every account

  • Professional — branded short links like janes-business.lte.direct/t/summer-promo

  • Secure — full HTTPS/SSL included

Can I change it?
Yes! Go to Profile → Custom Domains and tap Customize on your lte.direct subdomain to choose a different name.

Can I use my own domain instead?
Absolutely. You can add your own domain (like links.yourbrand.com) alongside or instead of the lte.direct subdomain. See the "How do I add a custom domain?" article for steps.

My custom domain isn't verifying — what do I do? Custom Domains

If your custom domain is stuck on "Pending" or shows "Failed", here are the common causes and fixes:

1. DNS hasn't propagated yet
DNS changes can take 5–30 minutes (sometimes up to 48 hours). We check automatically every 15 minutes, so you don't need to keep hitting Verify.

2. Wrong record type
Make sure you added a CNAME record, not an A record. The CNAME should point to app.leadtrackengine.com.

3. Wrong hostname
If your domain is links.yourbrand.com, the CNAME name/host field should be links, not links.yourbrand.com (most DNS providers add the domain automatically).

4. Cloudflare proxy is on
If you use Cloudflare, try setting the record to DNS Only (grey cloud) instead of Proxied (orange cloud). Our verification works through Cloudflare proxy, but DNS-only is more reliable during initial setup.

5. Domain is registered but not pointing anywhere
Make sure your domain's nameservers are active. A brand-new domain may take a few hours to become resolvable.

Still stuck? Use the Send Feedback option in the app and we'll help you troubleshoot.

How do I use stock photos in my pages? Pages

When editing a Hero, Image, or Profile block, you'll see two options:

  • My Photos — Choose an image from your device photo library

  • Stock Photos — Search thousands of free, royalty-free professional images

To use a stock photo:
  • Tap Stock Photos (or the gallery icon if replacing an existing image)

  • Search for what you need — e.g. "fitness", "business", "lifestyle"

  • Browse the results and tap the one you want

  • The photo is saved to your page automatically

Tips:
  • All stock photos are free to use commercially — no attribution required

  • Photos are stored securely on LTE servers so your published pages always load reliably

  • Try the suggested search categories for quick inspiration

What are Pages? Pages

Pages are mini web pages you build right from the app using the block editor. Use them to promote products, capture leads, share your links, or showcase your services.

Each page gets its own tracked URL so you can share it anywhere — social media, messaging apps, email — and see exactly how many people visit and submit your forms.

Key features:

  • Choose from ready-made templates or start from scratch

  • Drag-and-drop block editor — no coding needed

  • Built-in lead capture forms with auto-reply emails

  • Track views and form submissions

  • Publish instantly with one tap

How do I create a page? Pages

  • Open the Campaigns tab

  • Tap Create Campaign at the top

  • Choose a template from the gallery, or tap Start from scratch

  • Give your page a name

  • Start editing — add and arrange blocks to build your page

  • When you're happy, tap Publish to make it live

Tip: Your page is saved as a draft automatically as you edit. You can come back to it anytime from the Drafts tab.

How do templates work? Pages

Templates are pre-built page layouts that give you a head start. Each template comes with placeholder content you can customise.

Categories available:

  • Personal — Service pages, link hubs, business cards

  • Products — Product showcases, sales pages, wellness products

  • Events — Webinar registrations, launch parties

  • Lead Capture — Free resources, promo codes, team recruitment

To use a template:
  • Tap Create Campaign

  • Browse or filter by category

  • Tap a template to preview it

  • Tap Choose this template to start editing

All placeholder text and images are meant to be replaced with your own content.

Blocks are the building pieces of your page. Each block handles a different type of content.

Available block types:

  • Profile — Your photo, name, and bio

  • Heading — Title with optional subtitle

  • Paragraph — Body text

  • Image — A photo from your library or stock photos

  • Hero Banner — Full-width image with text overlay

  • Tap + Add Block to insert a new block

  • Changes save automatically as you edit

When your page is ready:

  • Tap the Publish button at the bottom of the editor

  • Your page goes live instantly

  • A share sheet appears with your page URL

  • Copy the link, share via AirDrop, Messages, or any app

After publishing:
  • Your page appears under My Campaigns (published tab)

  • You can track views and form submissions

  • To make changes, tap the page and edit — changes go live when you save

Tip: The page URL includes your tracking code, so any visits and form submissions are attributed to you.

How do I add a lead capture form? Pages

Forms let you collect contact information directly on your page.

  • Open your page in the editor

  • Tap + Add Block and choose Form

  • Set a heading (e.g. "Get in Touch") and button text (e.g. "Submit")

  • Add fields — choose from Name, Email, Phone, or Text Area

  • Mark fields as required or optional

After someone submits:
  • The submission is recorded and visible in your page stats

  • You can set a thank-you message that appears after they submit

  • You can enable auto-reply email to send an instant follow-up

  • You can set a redirect URL to send them to another page

Configure these options in the form block editor under On Submit.

How do I add a video to my page? Pages

You can embed YouTube or Vimeo videos directly on your page.

  • Open your page in the editor

  • Tap + Add Block and choose Video

  • Paste the video URL (e.g. https://youtube.com/watch?v=... or https://vimeo.com/...)

  • Optionally add a caption below the video

The video will appear as an embedded player on your published page. Visitors can watch it without leaving your page.

Can I duplicate a page? Pages

Not yet — but it's coming soon! For now, you can create a new page using the same template and customise it.

Workaround:

  • Note which template you used originally

  • Tap Create Campaign and select the same template

  • Customise the new page with your updated content

Page duplication is on our roadmap and will be available in a future update.
